By creating an account or using Sober-ish, you agree to these terms. They're written to be read, so please do.
What Sober-ish is (and isn’t)
Sober-ish is a personal log for noticing your own habits. It is not medical advice, treatment, or a substitute for a doctor, therapist, or support program, and it isn’t designed to diagnose or treat any condition.
If you’re worried about your use or feel unsafe, please reach out to a professional. In the US, the SAMHSA National Helpline is free and confidential, 24/7: 1-800-662-4357. If you’re in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
- Keep access to your email secure. Anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
- You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
Your data
What you log is yours. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Fair use
Don’t misuse the service. That means no attempts to access other people’s data, no disrupting or reverse engineering our servers, and no automated abuse. We may suspend accounts that do.
The service
We work to keep Sober-ish available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Features may change, and we may discontinue the service. If we do, we’ll give reasonable notice where we can so you can request a copy of your data.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Sober-ish and its makers aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.
Ending things
You can stop using Sober-ish and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may end access for accounts that break these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
Apple
If you downloaded Sober-ish from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple isn’t responsible for the app or its support.
